Rap Artist MIMs Says Kanye West Stole His Sound

Kanye's debut album "College Dropout" was released in February of 2004. MIMS debut "Music Is My Savior" was released in March 2007.

MIMS, known for his chart topping hit "This Is Why I'm Hot", has accused Kanye West of stealing his sound.

"I recorded my album five years ago so I did it first" MIMS told Contact Music in reference to the sped up soul sample production sound of Kanye West.

Kanye's debut album "College Dropout" was released in February of 2004. MIMS debut "Music Is My Savior" was released in March 2007.

Mims is due to appear at London's Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.

Kanye West's new album "Graduation" is in stores September 11.
