Lil Wayne and Fast and The Furious Movie

As we reported yesterday, Lil Wayne is currently in talks to star in the next Fast and The Furious film that hits the big screen next year. Well Wayne is also negociating to close out this years BET Awards. “I’m really excited that Usher is opening the show,” BET’s executive vice president told Billboard. “I’ll give you a little tidbit - Lil’ Wayne is probably closing the show. So, we have a grand opening and grand closing.”

Wayne has racked up three nominations for “The BET Awards,” with nominations for “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist;” the “Viewer’s Choice” award for his hit “Lollipop;” and “Best Collaboration” for DJ Khaled’s “I’m So Hood (Remix).” The award show is set to air on June 24.
