Kanye Cancels North Dakota Tour Date
Fans in Fargo, North Dakota will miss the chance to see superstar rapper Kanye West on his critically acclaimed “Glow in the Dark” tour, as the date in the city has been canceled.
Kanye West has canceled his show at the Fargodome. A tight tour schedule is being cited. The Chicago hip-hop artist was scheduled to bring his “Glow in the Dark” tour to the Fargodome on Sunday. Dome general manager Rob Sobolik says scheduling conflicts got in the way. The tour will be in Chicago on Saturday and in Winnipeg on Monday.
Promoters told Sobolik that the 15 trucks hauling West’s stage production would not have been able to get to Fargo in time. About 3,500 tickets were sold for the concert at the Fargodome, fewer than what promoters were hoping for. Sobolik says the Fargodome was a co-promoter of the show and will lose some money, though he’s not sure how much.
